Just Thinking

Well, Chris didn't have to work today. Actually, he had some vacation days saved up so he has been using them this past week. My work day seems a lot different when he's not here. I'm used to being able to talk to him throughout the entire day.
I just realized today though, that I am actually in a pretty decent mood today. Most days when I'm at work I'm sitting here pissed off at the world because either the management team here at work doesnt know how to effectively implement and enforce policies and procedures or Chris has pissed me off or someone else that I work with has gotten too far into my business...
So, I don't know what's different about today but, I'm in a good mood. I havent gotten mad at anyone, I dont feel like hitting anyone or walking out of my job. (which, in today's economy would be a really stupid thing to do anyways)
I talked to my mom today, I asked her if she knew what Chris had gotten me for Christmas... She said she knew and said I would like it. But then she kept on talking about it and apparently Chris actually called her about my present and she kept saying I was going to have a "very happy day"... There's two things that I can think of that I have specifically asked Chris to get me for Christmas.... a Nintendo Wii and I've hinted that I want a ring...
I don't see any reason that he would call my mom just to tell her that he was getting me a Nintendo Wii... and I dont see how getting a Nintendo Wii on Christmas would make my day "very happy" since we will be running errands all day and visiting people. So, this has led me to believe that Chris very well might be proposing to me on Christmas morning!! How freaking awesome would that be?!
But then I think, I really probably shouldn't get myself so excited thinking that is the plan just in case it doesnt actually happen... Because really, when it comes down to it, I would be quite happy with pretty much anything he has gotten me... I will definitely keep you, my readers, updated on this event :) It might be Monday before I can tell you what I got since I generally only blog while I'm at work but, I'll be on here :)
